Here is another of my personal collections that I am
disbanding

This is a
BEAUTIFUL  PATCH
issued in 2012 for the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouting
.  It is a replica of the VERY FIRST MEMBERSHIP PIN from 1914.
This comes on a 6x8 inch card with a
beautifully embroidered 4 inch patch, with a GLITTER THREAD BORDER
that you can see only slightly in the picture.  It is even more beautiful in person.
This depiction of the membership pin is from 1914, and of course the pin has been modified many times over the years.  The commonality is the stars (only 3 to begin with,) on the shield of the eagle, and the
talons
holding the arrows on one side and an olive branch on the other side.
You can see on the back that there is information to go along with the patch.  Perhaps this patch would be a fitting GIFT for an ambitious Girl Scout that you know.  Check my store for other 100th
