An antique flashlight of smooth and shiny chrome-plated brass and steel that was USA made and still WORKS! This is a veritable
Hardy Boys
era light for sure, of less common bullet shape and size, and is both useful and collectible. Seller does not know manufacturer, but light was USA made, and he guesses circa 1960 if not well before. (He adds you likely won't see another like it.) Chrome plating is still very bright and clean, body shows only several dings or dents so
very minor as to be called insignificant,
and light has a GLASS lens over the lamp and reflector. There is some light scratching inside reflector, to the body, and some scuffing to the battery end cap. Note that flashlight operates with a slide switch and that either end of it may be opened for cleaning or to replace lamp or batteries. Even comes with a spare replacement incandescent lamp! Weight including two "D" batteries (
10 year old batteries
used for the first photo NOT included!) is 14 ounces; flashlight has an overall length of 7 inches and a lens diameter of 1 3/4 inches.  Condition is a very good "used".
