Antique Eveready Flashlight, Bakelite/fiber tube no 2616 tested

Description

This is a very early EveryReady Flashlight.  It has a bakelite or composite material for a tube that is black not coated brass.  I reads Case No. 2616, Two unit Cells, Lamp no. 1198, Made in USA.  I got it to work by adding a piece of wire from the forward contact to the back.  It need someone to do it correctly.  The original brass strip that had made the contact is missing.  It has a few repairs on it like a rivet replacement but I see nothing that a person who collects and restores these can't overcome. I have never seen this type that has no threading on the tube but is directly attached.  Priced to sell.  The item in the photo is the actual item you will receive, less batteries.  Returns are accepted for 30 days from receipt of the order and I arrange and pay for all return costs.
