    It is a reproduction of the daggers used by the Celtics in the Scottish Highlands during Medieval times. Although “Claymore” was originally a Scottish Gaelic term describing a very large two-handed long sword, it has come to define any bladed weapon with a cross hilt of forward sloping quillons and quatrefoil terminations. The dagger being sold follows the design requirements exactly. It is terrific for display in a Celtic/Medieval collection or for use in the theatre.
