Clarinet Selmer S9 1964 T5439 Vintage, Concert band, Jazz, w Mouthpiece+Case

This is a pretty sounding clarinet. The Series 9 was the last of the jazz wide bore clarinets made by Selmer, with the top of the reverse cone at the start of the upper joint measuring 15.25mm. However these instruments were also popular with classical players; the great French virtuoso Ulysse Delecluse played Selmer Series 9. This A clarinet has matching serial nos., T5439 which dates to 1964 & is in excellent condition. The Nickel Silver plating is pristine throughout, with barely any wear. The pads are all fish skin in good order, and are sealing well. The instrument shows NO evidence of cracks or repairs; the wood condition throughout is very good. The case is a Protec and will come a Vandoren mouthpiece from Paris. Thank you for looking and let me know if you have any questions.
