This is the exhibitor's campaign book, also known as a pressbook, produced by Disney and issued to theatres showing Walt Disney's live-action feature film in its original 1964 release. The film was directed by Norman Tokar and starred Brian Keith, Vera Miles, Pamela Franklin and Sabu. It tells the story of an escaped circus tiger whose life is spared through the efforts of Julie Williams, played by Pamela Franklin, and her father, the local sheriff, played by Brian Keith.
The pressbook is illustrated throughout in black-and-white and features 5 pages of stories and pictures on the film and its stars; 2 pages of posters and displays available to theaters (inside back cover and back cover); 11 pages of ready-made advertisements that could be placed in print media by theatres showing the film (none have been cut out); 3 pages of promotions and tie-ins; and 1 page each on Radio-TV publicity and the forthcoming film

This was the final film for Selar Shaik Sabu (1924-1963), the Indian actor born in Mysore. His first roles were in British productions:
The Elephant Boy
(1937), Alexander Korda's
The Thief of Bagdad
(1940) and
The Jungle Book
(1942). He came to the USA and signed with Universal Pictures to make three films with Maria Montez and Jon Hall from 1942 to 1944. He became a United States citizen in 1944, joined the U.S. Army Air Forces and served in World War II as a gunner in B-24 Liberators in the Pacific theater. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for valor and bravery.
This is a nice and clean item; there is minor edge wear, bit of cover rubbing and small corner bumps: FINE condition.
