Dovecote Woodworking reclaimed Pacific Yew wood Birdhouse Ornament hand turned. Condition is New. Shipped with USPS priority or First Class Package.
One of a kind hand turned on a lathe, Christmas ornament or decorative piece in the shape of a hanging birdhouse.
Black string will be removed before shipping, it is for hanging for photographing only.
Made from reclaimed rare Pacific Yew wood. No tree was killed. The wood was found dead in the Cascade Foothills near Estacada Oregon and hand packed out.
Heirloom quality. Time consuming to find this wood and create.
Exceptional quality, hollowed out on the inside, the roof and body are from 2 pieces of Yew, joined together with traditional joinery (mortise and tenon). Finished with shellac, walnut oil and bees wax.
4" tall, 2 1/2" in diameter.
2.6 ounces unpacked weight.
Please note that all the photographs were all taken with flash.
Makes a great gift for that special, but difficult to buy for, person. Can be initiated on the bottom if desired. If not requested, will be left as pictured.
