Strider (also known as Aragorn) is the son of Arathorn, and heir to the Kingdom of Gondor. One of his weapons is a curved Elven knife, given to him by Galadriel, the Elf Queen, in Lothlorien, in a restored scene from the extended version of "The Fellowship of the Ring". It proved to be a valuable asset to Strider as he journeyed into territories of evil, including the Battle of Helms Deep, and in his battle against Lurtz, the leader of Sauron's evil breed of Uruk-Hai. Strider carried this beautiful knife on his side in its genuine leather-wrapped sheath. Engraved on the blade are runes in the Elven language of Sindarin that say "Gud Daedheloth." This translates to "Foe of Morgoth's realm.
Strider's knife is 19 5/8 inches with a 15 3/4 inch blade. The blade is made of 420 J2 stainless steel and etched with elven runes. This blade will not rust and does not need to be oiled.
This replica knife features solid tang construction. The handle is resin wood grips with gold plating zinc alloy pommel.
The sheath is wrapped in leather with an antiqued finish solid metal collar and tip. This is a great collectors piece.
