This is for a NEW LOT OF 6 Vintage Girl Scout ITEMS. I am giving you the information on these items so you will know the history of them. Most of these are discontinued. The BROWNIE WINGS were earned by a Brownie Scout who had completed the Brownie Program and was ready to go to JUNIORS. They were introduced in 1927 but this one is probably in the 70’s since it has the “new” iron on backing. The BRIDGE TO JUNIORS PATCH was made in 1977 and was produced until 1987 (In 1987 they introduced a new patch in rainbow colors for the different “Worlds of Scouting”) This program was developed to encourage Brownies to meet Junior Scouts and Learn their Program. There were 3 Brownie Wedges they could earn that went into the Arch. The JUNIOR AIDE Patch was available in 1977 for Juniors to earn for being an active assistant to Brownies who were bridging. The BRIDGE TO CADETTES Patch was next. It was introduced in 1980 to encourage Juniors to meet Cadettes and find out about some of the special features of being a Cadette Scout. It is yellow. In 1986 the BRIDGE TO CADETTES Patch was changed to the rainbow for the colors of the “Worlds”. The BRIDGE TO ADULTS PIN was made in 1987 and is on the Original Card. It also has the rainbow design.
