    RARE FULL BOX OF 12 ANTIQUE SOUTHERN BATTERY COMPANY APPOMATTOX, VA FLASHLIGHT BATTERIES
    This is a super rare full box of twelve (12) old red-topped flashlight batteries inside the original cardboard box. These batteries probably date to around the 1920s-1930s. These are the Extra Long Life Flashlight Batteries made by the Southern Battery Co. out of Appomattox, Virginia. Each battery inside box is in great unused condition and used to sell for 10 cents a piece back then. They measure 2.5" tall by just over 1 and 1/4" in diameter. Box measures 2.5" tall by 5.5" wide by 4" thick. Box is in great condition overall for its' age as well. The perforated lids inside are almost unattached but otherwise its' in great shape with just some dust present. Please see pictures for design and condition detail in batteries and box. Rare find. I can't even find one of the batteries for sale, let alone a whole box of 12. Wonderful old full box of flashlight batteries made by a company out of the town where the Civil War ended. Does it get any better? Great collectible piece for your shelf. Don't miss it.
