    Description

    Hand-carved & signed by artist Klern Klilner.
    Mountains, buttes, & mesas of Southern Utah.
    “Buttes, a common landform in southwestern Utah, bring to mind cattle drives and life of the old west. This is not a specific butte, but rather a representation of the many. It depicts the rugged, steep sides which climb to the top, as well as southwestern vegetation in front.
    This was a fresher wood and a carving experiment for me. As such, it was more difficult to work with, making it challenging to show the small details that I sometimes like to include. Also, there are is some pooling of the stain / finish. For this reason, I am selling this carving at a reduced price.” -Klern
    Stained and varnished with a protective coating.

    Every piece is unique and carved by hand. No power tools used.
    Hand-carved in raw pine wood.
