Description
Vintage 1930’s-1940’s Bond Electric Company 2 Cell Flashlight 9-1/4” Long.Made in New Haven Connecticut which makes the earliest possible manufacturing date 1937 which is the year Bond moved there. Construction style is more like the models of the 1920-30’s than the later 1940’s, but have been unable to find verification of year it was made.
Uses 2 “Mono Cell 102” batteries. D size may work. Has no lens, has a bulb but it may not work, and may not be the right one. Sides are ribbed rubber and metal appears to be chromed brass. Bottom unscrews as well as lens ring. Has a button placed behind the switch. Also has a belt clip on the end. There is a lot of wear and there are numerous dents.
