VINTAGE FLASHLIGHT FORESTER BRAND 4D CELL LANTERN & HEAD LAMP COMBO 1940-50S?

Description

Vintage combination lantern and headlight.  Forester brand stamp but this light was likely made by Justrite for Forester.  Complete name stamp is Forester Western Fire Equipment Company, San Francisco, USA.  The lantern is in working condition.  However, you need to make sure the contact plate in the canister is laying flat on the bottom when inserting the batteries.  Also, a rivet for the strap evidently popped off during previous ownership and they craftily made a new connection using a small washer.  Sold as is.
